CALL FOR PAPERS
We invite researchers, engineers, practitioners and students from around the world to submit their work to INTER-NOISE 2027.
About the Theme of the Congress
The theme of the Congress, “From the Noises of the Past to the Sounds of the Future“, reflects the rapidly evolving paradigm of acoustics in modern society. Moving beyond traditional engineering approaches focused solely on noise mitigation, INTER-NOISE 2027 explores how sound can be intentionally designed, managed, and integrated as an essential contributor to global environmental sustainability and human quality of life.
Topics of Interest
The technical program offers a comprehensive matrix of scientific exchange. Sessions will seamlessly blend foundational core topics with trailblazing research fields, providing an unparalleled view of acoustics engineering today. Topics range from computational modelling and structural dynamics to emerging areas such as urban soundscapes, bioacoustics, and product sound quality.
You can browse the complete list of topics and special sessions in the “STREAM AND TOPICS” section of this page. We invite you to identify the topic and session that interest you before submitting your work.

The abstract evaluation process takes place within three weeks of receipt. Accepted authors must submit camera-ready versions by 11 April 2027 (assessed) or 25 April 2027 (unassessed). You will receive the notification for each submitted paper by 9 May 2027. Accepted authors must register for the congress.
- Assessment process (open review, upon request, subject to an extra fee): Submissions will be evaluated on: – Originality and novelty of the contribution – Soundness of the methodology or argument – Clarity of presentation and writing quality – Relevance to the conference themes and audience – Reproducibility (where applicable).
